It's amazing you you got her photograph, I photographed her a couple of years ago when she won the Marathon. She is the Ethiopian runner, correct? The D70 is slightly faster than the D100 I am using, but I am glad I have the vertical grip on mine, because I do take a lot of vertical photographs. I noticed on some of your photos you cropped very close. and some you did not. When photographng people, I try to crop as much as possible in the camera and get very close, especially with my 80-200mm Nikon edif 2.8 lense. Some of my photographs I scanned and then fixed them in photoshop. but I only manipulated a couple, the sepia tone photos obviously and the peoni flower, just fooling around there with photoshop after I brightened up the photo with levels.

I do photography on the side and will eventually get a pro site. I do event photography and portraits. I love Boston for its photographic opportunity and I often reshoot areas just to find something new in the image.

    Enjoy your photography,

    cheers
